Renee's ultimate dream was to run a successful hair salon. Whilst completing her apprenticeship Renee was studying a management program called Salon Advantage, she did this part time over 4 years. After receiving the certificate of completion in this program in 2008, Renee retained her certificate in Waxing, Spray Tanning and Makeup Artistry. She also completed her Certificate IV in Business Management and completed at TAFE Business Skills for Salon Managers in 2019. Renee has been working within the industry for 20 years. After managing 3 salons in the local area, she decided to take her career further and start her own business. Renee founded Escarla Hair in 2012 at the age of 24. She found there was a need for a professional hairdressing salon that is customer-centric and builds relationships with their customers. She worked extremely hard building the brand and increased clientele dramatically, she was booked out 5-6 days a week with little time for work/life balance. An opportunity in January 2015 allowed her to grow and move into her own salon. With support of family, friends, former employers, colleagues, and brand representatives, Escarla Hair has become a successful reality. It was a passion and life-long goal for Renee to operate her own salon which she has now been successfully running for 10 years!

Renee's creative talent combined with her infectious personality creates the ideal atmosphere for her salon. She strives to meet client’s expectations. Her meticulous attention to detail is her secret weapon. Not just with regards to her clients but to the salon’s social media presence in which she is always striving to improve and find new ways to connect with clients. Renee is constantly inspiring her staff to strive for perfection, encouraging local business' and surpassing expectations. 

With over 15 years of experience Kayla thrives on giving every client an amazing salon experience. Kayla's work is always delivered with passion, commitment and technical excellence. Kayla tailors each of her client’s look, taking into consideration their unique features and lifestyle. For this reason, Kayla is highly renowned for her perfect styled cuts as they allow for easy maintenance at home. Kayla loves nothing more than a client’s response when she brings their vision and thoughts to life,

with creating outstanding colours that work in harmony with her beautiful finishes. Throughout her career, she has been invested in continuing her education. In September 2018 Kayla travelled with Keune Hair Cosmetics as she has attained her master colourist certificate and has attended the International Masters Tour in Brazil to learn some of the most advanced colour and cutting techniques. Kayla specialises in balayage, vigorous reds, coppers, high fashion brights and pastel colour correction. You will see Kayla maintaining a strong client base on the floor, managing and mentoring her team as well as overseeing all day-to-day runnings of the business. She has a long-standing group of diehard clients that swear by her and her work so booking in advance is a must.

Chloe has over 17 years of hairdressing experience, a passion for the industry and genuine care for her clientele which is evident in her work. Chloe has artistic talent and professional skills. She absolutely loves every aspect of colour and hair design believing hairdressing is about feeling good within the environment where quality and creativity exists. Chloe is passionate, committed to stay on top of trend and knows what it takes to achieve the ultimate hair transformation as she specialises in colour correction, blondes, balayage and upstyling. Chloe is known for her blunt, precise and meticulous cutting techniques. Chloe is also our apprentice mentor in the salon, she is often found teaching or guiding our apprentices about the craft and important aspects of hairdressing cutting and styling.

With highly developed skills, an appointment with Chloe is always an enjoyable and relaxing experience. She enjoys listening to her client’s desires and tailors the product to match their needs and lifestyle. Chloe has a loyal following so booking in advance is recommended. Chloe has a magical talent for making her clients feel on top of the world.

Silver place at World Skills Australian Regional Comp. Stephanie never fails to deliver and produce on trend techniques and styles. Lover of colouring; beautifully reflecting light and shade with lots of dimension and creates seamless continuity flow through the hair with perfect harmony in colour hues to compliment skin tones. For every look she works with complexion, features, eye colour and natural texture accentuating natural beauty. Steph has a passion for all things aesthetically pleasing so it’s only natural that her social media presence is second to none! Her clients love being featured on our socials and her keen eye for perfection makes sure that everything we post is picture perfect. Stephanie also excels in effortless and unstructured styling for any seasonal occasion. Be fast to book in because Stephanie is in high demand in the salon!

Growing strength to strength. Loredana loves creating beautiful blondes, modern balayage looks and loves creating beautifully styled blowdrys from soft waves to textured styles. Already elevating her expertise to the highest levels. Lore’s favourite part about her job is being able to interact with clients, making them feel beautiful inside and out. Loredana has been with Escarla for over 4 years and continues to go from strength to strength. Eagerly learning new techniques and skills from any and all opportunities presented. Lore’s clients have become accustomed to her meticulous nature, her care and willingness to listen and deliver. Her work ethic and attitude means she is an incredibly valuable asset to the salon and her loyal clientele.

Andrea poses strong colouring and cutting skills. She is unique and inventive in her art. Andrea loves being able to transform clients into the best versions of themselves. She is an incredibly talented hairdresser, always happy, kind and enthusiastic with a lot of passion for the hair industry. Many clients love seeing her due to her creative talent. Hair extension application is a huge passion of hers, she is now our GO-TO hair extension specialist. Andrea is positive, passionate, vibrant and treats each client with the care she would her family because Andrea's clients become her family!

Skye previously owned and managed her own salon Dalias Hair for 2 years. She recently sold the business.  At the age of 21 this is a massive achievement. Skye specialises in blondes, foiling, balayage, colour corrections and breath-taking bouncy blowdrys. Skye has a bubbly, uplifting personality. Her knowledge and love for the industry is seen through her outstanding display of her work. Skye strives for perfection and believes in exploring the colour palette in her creativity of work with thoughtful interaction with her clients that makes them feel fantastic. Over the years Skye has honed her talent to a free art, she loves delivering fresh, durable colour and precision haircuts for both women and men alike. Her skill as a talented hairdresser continues to shine through every day. Skye is wholeheartedly dedicated to ensuring each client leaves with their questions answered and a smile on their face.
 

Alana has been with Escarla since the beginning her career. She has completed her Certificate III in hairdressing and attained her certificate for barbering techniques . Alana is enthusiastic! This is reflected in all her excellent work and the reaction from her clients who leave their appointments looking beautiful and feeling relaxed. Alana has recently taken on her own clients and is now servicing them independently. Alana loves learning new skills and applying them in any way she can. She has had the opportunity to be part of numerous training sessions within the salon and through the Keune Head Office in which she has excelled at. Always keen to learn, she is looking forward to more training with Keune this year. We are so excited to see what the future holds for Alana.

Madi 's skills are far beyond her years and she is enthusiastic in every aspect of her work life. She has completed her Certificate III in Hairdressing. Madi loves learning new skills and applying them in the salon. She has enjoyed workshops and training through the salon and Keune Head Office in which she has excelled at and recreated her work back at the salon flawlessly. This year she has also attended contemporary haircut workshops with educator Michael Belcastro. Madi has had multiple training models in the salon and from them, she has already created a loyal clientele. We look forward to seeing what is next for Madi, watch out for this one!

Brooke is in the process of completing her first year as an apprentice at Escarla. She is currently studying her Certificate III in hairdressing at Ultimo Tafe and is thoroughly enjoying learning new skills and becoming a valued part of our team! Brooke assists with the general upkeep of the salon, welcoming and seating clients, ensuring that each client is caped up and offered a beverage. She will carry out some basic hairdressing services and assist senior stylists with rinsing, washing, toning and anything else that may prove useful to the client experience. Our apprentices are in hot demand as we have such a fast-paced salon, so you will see Brooke on the move whenever she is on the floor. Constantly learning and looking to further her skills, Brooke is set to do great things in the hairdressing space

Before taking maternity leave, Hayley was our (in) salon co-ordinator; she provided support for salon stylists and Escarla’s owner. This included servicing customers, managing sales, assisting with events, managing retail products, and administrative duties. Since returning to work her role has evolved into that of a virtual assistant where she works remotely servicing any needs of the clients and the salon from afar. Anytime you are online, it is highly likely that you are talking to her. Social media, online appointments and anything that can be done remotely is a huge part of Hayley’s new role. Hayley’s emphasis is providing the best of everything for our clients and ensuring that the salon and staff are looked after in order to service our clients the best way they can. Her unique touch and presence has made a special contribution to our team.
